Table bases

Table bases, for a collaboration with Mitercraft . Steel,17"tall, maple burl

Prototype for knives for my son's unit in the First Infantry.
Blade, 4"
Overall, 8.5"
Steel is circular sawmill blade, tests as med/hi carbon, .15 thick.
Cocobolo handle- way too nice for a prototype, but I'll be carrying this one.
Production knife will be 440c bead blasted stainless, with choice of Purpleheart or synthetic (micarta) grip.
Also available in D2 or CPM 154- I recommend 440c because of the difficulty of sharpening "super steels" in the field.
