Bowie progress

Bevels set, working on handle attachment. Blade is just over nine inches

Got an order for a large bowie-here it is forged, profiled, and rough ground.
Finished blade length will be just over 9".
O-1 tool steel, spine is around .21" thick, blade width about 1 1/2"

Studded K-Pod

440c stainless, spun copper studs
This is an experiment A) to try rivet spinning, B) to try a new oxidized finish, C) trying ways to make grip on a handle without hiding the steel (for the ones made from layered steel)
It's pretty butch. It's beyond butch.
